Job Responsibilities:
As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing precise dimensional measurements using advanced tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
- Calibrating instruments and equipment according to established standards and procedures.
- Documenting calibration results and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintaining and organizing calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Adhering to industry standards and safety protocols while performing all tasks.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in metrology or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in dimensional measurement or calibration roles.
- Proficiency with measurement instruments and calibration techniques.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and calibration best practices is a plus.
